Yeah, I have a GTX 1070 and It plays the games I play at 1440p just fine.
I would like to get a RTX 3060 or 3070 sometime next year but its not like I need it.
Like to get it for the nice bump in performance, as well as the ability to enjoy games with Ray Tracing when I play them.

By all means, let’s be kind to the man who never has been.

I dunno, Covid was pretty original.

Warts and all, XV brought me back after a good 15 years where the franchise just didn’t have anything to offer me - at this point, my expectations are dirt-level. All I’m asking for is a story that meets basic levels of coherence from start to finish, and characters with arcs that go from A to B and *maybe* C if they

I cannot stress this enough... I don’t care about cloud streaming services.

I wish I saw some IX in there, but I didn’t. None of the whimsy, none of the visual style, no distinct characters or locations... bland bland bland. Much like XII and XIV.

lol people actually thinking that buying a game from one of the biggest corporations in the world based on one of the biggest media franchises int he world is going to “support the developers”, like they’re going to see any of that money anyway.

great, I will not be buying them until they come down in price. Ive seen the whole “production costs have gone up” bs excuse long enough now. yes production has gone up, but profits have gone up even more. the game industry’s audience now dwarfs what it was in the 90's or even the early 2000's. there is zero reason to

Same. I’m at the point in life where gaming is more of a side hobby than a passion and my backlog is massive. I’d be surprised if I buy a game for more than $40 more than 1-3x a year from here on out.

yeaaa nawww will wait

Never did end up liking 15 so 16 doesn’t look worth buying for me.

There’s too high a percentage of sociopaths and idiots within our society for this to be a viable model, I’m sorry.

“When all you want is the latest gaming news, Kotaku Core has you covered.”

Y’know...if we collectively agree to stop giving these miserable fuckwits the attention they so goddamned desperately, pitifully claw at, they’ll eventually just go away and be forgotten like they should be.

It’s not taking responsibility, it’s faking remorse, and that’s all it is.

I don’t buy it. He may have apologized, but he didn’t say anything about taking responsibility for it. He never mentioned anything about accountability. You can promise all these new initiatives. However, it means nothing unless you take responsibility as the CEO of the company

Couldn’t this also be an indictment on the stupid cost of medicine in the US?  I mean the people that went to Sturgis deserve every bit of illness and vitriol they have coming, but $46,000 per case?  The whole thing is stupid, from beginning to end.

Gym membership? More like germ membership

if I’ve learned one thing during this pandemic, it’s that gym owners are generally terrible people and I will never, ever join a gym.

people who hate gyms and gym culture in general”
