@milkisgood: This can only sound snobby, but the USAA app has been doing this for perhaps a year now.
@tipTI: Did anyone know that you can replicate this on the iPhone 3G with almost the exact same grip?
@SuperTongueIII: Realistically, the AT&T network is usable. No doubt there are documented troubles - particularly in a couple cities (unfortunately mine) - but claiming that the network is useless seems to go quite a bit too far.
@willyboy: What Gizmodo reader who has an iPhone that he wants to make sure can still be jailbroken and run his beloved jailbroken apps?
@buff_man: Hmm...either a personal critique or a great play on the song. I just can't decide...
@Poop Cooper: I hear you (and @Rushbc) about burning up quota, but having the option would be pretty nifty. I could be fine having 1 or 2 hours of 3G video calls a month - especially in situations when wifi is entirely not available.
I wonder if a Jailbroken iPhone4 with a 3G Unrestrictor App (currently available for the 3G/3GS which spoofs apps into running "wifi-only" tasks over 3G) would be a fine workaround for the video call limitation.
@DrewTX: Isn't it anti-social and selfish for people to go into a public space and use their cellphones when to do so would be disruptive to the space? For example, movies, plays, concerts, etc?
