I’m not a courtroom lawyer but I’m 99% sure cops don’t have the jurisdiction to make sure someone is a really a lawyer in court. That’s the court’s job and only the court’s job. The cop is there for security and to bring criminal defendants in and out of custody. This cop should 100% be fired but I’m sure he won’t be.

I saw this on Baltimore news last night. Same headline, lawyering while black. Considering that last week’s (old) comic showed her in both pre and post transition designs and Kotaku regularly reposts older comics I think it’s fair to say that most readers remember that she used to identify as male. I wouldn’t say it’s important that we remember, though.

Same reason that free college scares them. No one complains about the “free” education we get through HS, because a HS diploma really doesn’t get you very far these days.
