Hey man, $425 is still $425.

4. The November election will be a huge test for Dem midterm turnout. If they can’t get people to the polls in this election, nothing will get them there and we’ll have to wait for the slow shift in demographics to give us an advantage. Primary turnout is a good indicator, but isn’t a guarantee.

+1. Any liberal minded individual who feels energized by articles like this has not spent enough time out of the bubble. Trump and his supporters are already planning 2020 and even 2024. Yes, I know that would be a third term, that’s how energized they are. I predict a second term for Trump and an attempt at

Yup. Couldn’t be arsed to not be a complete piece of shit in public and he wants grace? FOH. You don’t drop racist slurs on accident because you’re “upset”.  That doesn’t happen unless the words are already a part of your daily vocabulary.

I was upset about another issue...so I repeatedly called someone a nigger? Sure, that makes sense.

“I only hope that by me sharing a public apology in this incident you could show me some grace.”

The more I think about it I was like, ‘Ew.’ I was just, I had death in me.”

This story is so, so sad to me.

No one cares, Bertrammm.  Video games are the most first-world activity in existence.  To even voice an opinion on this pointless.

Wait... is this comment supposed to be ironic? I mean... this is a site about video games... most problems here are first world problems.

Counter-counter-point: none of the very real problems you just discussed justify being a toxic shitlord to actual human beings on a message board.

But teacher a bitch is a female dog it’s in the dictionary. The state of rhetoric as taught in schools is very pitiful. Aristotle is rolling in the grave.

“Middle school aged bullshit like this is holding back esports from becoming a respectable viewing experience.”

That’s bullshit, though, and asking what someone really means when they use the word “faggot” (or any other slur) is fruitless. Regardless of the word he meant to use, his intentions were still to insult.

He knew full-well the connotations of that word when he used it, whether he meant it as a homophobic slur or not.

This sort of pseudo-intellectual rhetoric that wants to pose as critical thought gives me stomach pains. When people act like historians to justify their use of words like “faggot”, I just don’t know what to do. I almost feel bad for them, which I know most people don’t want to do.

I’m not saying anyone *needs* permission but it’s like this:

“It’s not that hard if you really aren’t homophobic and it doesn’t have to be about language “tyrants”.”

All I know is after I got into college I weened myself off of referring to stuff as “gay” when I really meant “lame” or “bad” (I grew up in the country, not to mention it was a different time). It’s not that hard if you really aren’t homophobic and it doesn’t have to be about language “tyrants”.

There aren’t even all

Because admitting fault requires admitting imperfection, and some folks are so afraid that the appearance of even momentary weakness will chum the social waters in their orbit that they dare not breathe a word of contrition.

...or: “Because some folks’ egos are fragile, and cannot take the beating that admitting a
