Actually we are better defined as a Republic. Which is why our name is actually the Republic of the United States of America. Only our schools and media tell us we are a democracy. You won't in fact, find the term democracy or democratic in the Constitution.
Because, if you look at our electoral process, only those people who vote early on, way before the presidential election, actually get a say in who becomes president. —I was gonna write this out, but someone did it for me —
Yes, yes they are. Although, you could leave out the word seems. Quite honestly, the GOP has embarrassed itself this year.
I believe there are two r's in 'Merrican, and two e's in reel. ;)
Yeah I have to agree with the other replyers. It's like saying "well I don't know how to fix my car so I shouldn't know how to drive it either." It really doesn't make sense. People put absolutely no thought into what they are doing and where they are going, they just blindly do what they will and then expect techs to…
+1. I love using olive oil, and have shown many family and friends that lower temperature settings may take a few minutes longer, but will generally give out a better dish.
Yeah, I'm.....I'm completely at a loss here. How is 1) NPR a liberal think-tank and 2) Olive Oil a talking point about anything political?
I disagree. By reading the original article, I feel that they are forming the word "agreeable" around a faulty definition. While their points may have validity, the fact that they are reforming a word to express their ideas, rather than simply stating them in long form does cause confusion. overall the theory could be…
I wouldn't say agreeable workers have this problem, I think it stems more from a probability that agreeable workers will also usually be a) more timid b) less confrontational or c) passive. While that can come across as agreeable, since most people will be getting their way with you, it doesn't have to mean the same…
Oh gawd, where do I get THAT in poster print!
I personally hate that the general populace holds all technicians to the BB standard.
This is why I accuse my self of being awesome. Yes yes, it's the cross I bear, but somehow, I get through it. ;)
Now lets do the math for the amount you're pissed when you stand in line that long and find out they're already out of what you wanted. :)
Ba-Zinga!
Darn reading. ;)
Most security analysis is done be firms that sell security software and systems. Lets face it, you wouldn't want military preparedness done by antiwar activists, would you?
As a second opinion from another IT professional, I agree with much of what you're saying, but have found that a good AV program (read rated well in real world testing) actually does quite a bit of good. The biggest problems I've found are:
By the "betterness" of Windows 8? Wow. Just an FYI, tech support at Staples and OfficeMax, is not really tech support. They're sales associates in a support position. They ask me for tech advise every time I go to buy paper.
I agree, this review seemed refreshingly unbiased.
