I think we can all assume in this day and age that pc's will have wifi and ehternet. That said, from a tech point of view, Sony's tend to be notoriously idiotic to work on/replace parts for, Dells on the other hand have parts that come cheaper and more easily. For my money, I'd go Dell.

I would think a little "site:Lifehacker.com" google magic would work well here. You'd be selecting out those articles, then have the ability to refine your search to your needs.

I think I personally enjoy it simply because it is simple. You get a nice amount of data in a easy to look at, retro, system without feeling over burdened.
