@LordNige: That's very weird for people in the UK to actually want to use the Imperial system when they have the choice not to. Is it just that they don't want to let go of their old ways, or what?

@Fauxcused: As far as America goes, a trillion dollars seems to be nothing to Obama so it wouldn't be much of a hassle switching over to Metric... except for that whole super-massive national debt thing. But who cares about that, right? It's only $13,207,704,215,124.44 which would be about $42,790.03 for each U.S.…
@LordNige: Wow! I had no idea that people still used the Imperial system in the UK.
@scrapking: They (hardly) taught centimeters, Celsius, and grams. Other than that, they didn't really give a care about teaching it. I was interested in this "other"(Metric) measuring system, so I decided to learn it myself through the internet, books, and such.
@scrapking: The relation to each unit is what I'm referring to. The Imperial system is just all over the place and still doesn't feel natural even though my education neglected teaching Metric in favor of Imperial, while the Metric system is neat, organized, and consistent through and through. I never get confused…
So now people can stop complaining about it. Since Apple won't do it themselves for whatever reason, they just let someone else make an App for That.
@kylecpcs: I know. But, my response was to the post that said: " It does things in it's commercial that it cannot do."
@triggerx: I guess I just never noticed it.
As an American, I think that the Metric system is far superior, and much easier to remember than the Imperial system.
@Phoshi: Try pressing F5 or Control+R, or just the Reload button. It skips the ad.
I've never seen anyone else put "[name here]-Gizmodo.com" in the bottom-right of the pictures. Just "Gizmodo.com". Just an observation...
@MercerCh00x: Buzz Lightyears don't fly, Evo 4Gs don't float in the air, and iPhone 4s aren't completely perfect in every way imaginable.
So, I went to the Apple Store to actually test and see if the reception trick was like they said it was, and it is! Though I have to actually make an effort and hold the phone in a position that I'd never hold it under normal use...
@eien: I have an iPod Touch. But for a computer, I use the PC I built with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
@kidian: For the virtual keyboard issue, just hold your finger over where you want the cursor to go. See here at about 57 seconds in: [www.youtube.com]
@eien: It's better because I don't have to search or anything, and there aren't any incompatibilities between addons and themes and such. It just works.
@Aklost: Google is doing some good things, too. They're helping to get rid of those pesky pedomephiles with the Google walking routes, by sending them into highways so they can get run over. [gizmodo.com]
@eien: Should I choose to use Firefox and use an addon made by some guy I don't know, or would I rather get Google Chrome and have all of the addons I wanted to be in Firefox, except better looking and already installed? Hmmm...
If you want the look of Firefox 4, but don't want to have do do the prebeta thing, you might want to check this out: [addons.mozilla.org]
@shiraz: I was actually just appreciating that genius design decision a few minutes ago. I <3 Google Chrome!
