And $10k is cheap for aerospace. Anything project which involves airborne hazard will cost a company at least $1 million just to starting thinking about it.
My company has a subsidiary that made and installed most of these seatback entertainment things some years back. Anything that remotely touches an airplane is super expensive. The business case for these things went away as soon as airlines realized every other person was carrying their own screen device anyway.
I wanted a E-class wagon vs the E-class sedan I have now, but it was $10k more for the same specs so it was vetoed purely on financial grounds.
It’s not like these types of movies make big bank in China anyways. Stuff like Pacific Rim and Transformers are what sells over there.

I traded in a 2008 stripper Outback after 8 years of service (~90k miles). Nothing broke except for a crimp in the wire that connected to the light on the hatch. Real solid car. I bought it new for $19k, and the dealer sold it within 2 days for $13k.

Even back in the 80s, the anti-union vitriol was telling the average American that lazy assembly line workers were getting paid $20/hr to turn a few nuts and bolts on a car - outrageous! I guess the “numbers” are just being adjusted for inflation.
How does that work? Don’t you just have to cough up that $6k when next April rolls around?
150 people from the mainland already immigrate to Hong Kong every day.
If it was really clearly defined, there’d be no need for Constitutional scholars, attorneys, or courts.
