No one would dare joke about Gunpei Yokoi, that man is responsible for so much more good than bad.

Completely! I just hopped on last night to check it out, with the only FPS I've consistently played for the past 10+ years being GOTY, and it felt better than ever. Still freaking crazy to play, incredibly hectic, so dang good. Now if they make Deck 16 again I'll be set.
Not sure what that has to do with it? I'm only 7 years younger than you, and still regularly buy games made over 20 years ago (Just bought Willow for my NES a couple months back, loving that game so far).
Wii versions controls are much better, so better that they made this the best game trilogy of all time.
No, the Wii controls are magnificent. I never played 2 on the Gamecube because I didn't like the controls when I played through 1 (PC FPS player here), but when I bought Trilogy years ago, I LOVED the new controls, far superior to the original controls just because of the ability to point constantly.
The way you are thinking of this is terrible, Nintendo should absolutely not release old games on smart phones, the experience would be awful. No one likes those awful on screen controls, I don't even like using emulators on mine.
Do you know if it works well for multiplayer? I'd love another but I don't want to deal with ridiculous workarounds just to have someone else play Goat Simulator with me.

I refuse to believe that. Joystiq is like the only Video Game news site that isn't filled with sensationalist polarizing articles, and instead focuses on actual video game news.
Monopoly on the NES was a staple of my childhood, pretty sure it's how I learned the game to begin with. That music has stuck with me too. That music IS the monopoly music, and playing any other digital monopoly just feels wrong because it doesn't have those classic tunes.
Hm, no Yoshi's cookie either. Or Yoshi for the NES! Interesting...
I'd guess before Wrecking Crew and Donkey Kong, as a side job Mario took. This would also account for the fact that you never see his family after this point. Oh, yeah, just in case you weren't aware, Mario is a deadbeat dad according to Punch Out.
I used to be big in the theorizing realm of the Zelda series, debating all the time on what goes where before Hyrule History came out.
Reason I say that, is because sometimes people would make a cool video like this showing their idea of the timeline, and it would be presented to the common man as being very…
While annoying for new purchasers for sure, a larger number of buyers of the system will be like me, someone who already has a 3DS who wants to upgrade. You can look at it as punishing people who haven't bought a 3DS before, or look at it as a courtesy to those who did and would rather not have the system be 210…
I'll take 8!
Waluigi, generally thought of as a series staple by Mario Kart fans, actually hasn't been around for that long. His first appearance was in the 2007 arcade game Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 (released in North America in 2008). He sure needed the Mario Kart boost too, if you ask me. Waluigi twin has long been criticized for…
You are doing a fine job. Kids don't often need things as dumbed down as people think. When I was a kid, children's programming was limited to Barney and Sesame Street. When I was 3 though, I was all about the Super Mario Super Show, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Looney Toons.
When I was four, I, like many others from my generation, had been playing Super Mario Bros 3 without parental assistance for a year. The NES was super simple for kids to get. This button turns it on. D-pad for movement, A is jump, B is shoot.
Sadly, no, but there is at least something. You can buy the game on the Wii, and as long as you have your Club Nintendo account hooked up to both your Wii and Wii U, the game will be discounted to 1.50 on the Wii U. Certainly not ideal to have to pay for the same game again on a new system, but if you aren't using…
Yep! It is on both the Wii and Wii U, and well worth it. I was lucky enough to pick it up for 30 cents during a promo, but the game is worth over 30 dollars still today. It's a massively great game that you will want to play more that once.
