Yes, it felt very clumsy and ungainly.  Maybe they were thrown off by the absence of Janelle (depending on how far she got through rehearsals with them) and were making a lot of last minute adjustments.

To me, Alexa is no different than that heffalump big-faced girl they chose in her stead last season.  They treated Ryan like she was the second coming.

Those two eliminations were the only ones that really disappointed me.  Adrian is a solid, memorable, charismatic dancer and Mariah was a really interesting anomaly and did a respectable job with contemporary.

I saw a cashier at some store who must have not been allowed to wear his lobe earrings at work and it looks exactly like you'd expect: stretched, dangling, floppy Dumbo-esque lobes that wobbled every time he moved his head.  It was disgusting.
