I liked the ending with Hector's "I feel.." and fade to black. It doesn't matter what he feels. He is able to feel again.

I thought about that too. My guess after seeing this episode is Mark knew that his brother was abusive and feels bad he didn't do more to help out his sister-in-law.

I used Grooveshark for albums Spotify didn't have. Hence the copyright infringement, I guess.

I guess they're no longer the great white hope

First Tony's friend says to keep his side activities quiet and not draw attention and the next thing he's showing a bunch of people the video he took of Tony beating the guy.

I don't agree that there was something going on between them. I think she's saying that her family might not like what she would confess to—being the actual person who assaulted that guy with the razor and possibly killing Matt.

For a primer, listen to the song "American Beat '84" by the Fleshtones from the soundtrack of Tom Hanks movie "Bachelor Party" where they name check influences and other garage bands. **bonus on soundtrack: REM's Windout (plus Oingo Boingo and Wang-Chung). Also, it's a funny movie.

Thanks for the tip on Canadian bands. I think Canada and Hosehead Records have the best garage rock bands right now.

I would also add the Fleshtones and the Lyres from the '80s.

It's because Drew's had either back surgery or neck problems. He doesn't want to get hurt.

I had this discussion just last week with my wife. There are so many cultural/media references for Baby Boomers and Gen Xers that are ingrained in our memories because we all watched the same shows at the same times, since there were only 3 networks and 2-3 local channels. If you missed a show like A Charlie Brown

This was on sick days and over the summer when I wasn't in camp.

I grew up In NY and TPIR was always on at 11am. Between 9am and around noon, it was all game shows with soap operas starting on various networks around 11am, at least in the 1970s and early 80s. Then after the game shows, on the local stations there were reruns of The Brady Bunch, the Munsters, Gilligan's Island,

Yup! In addition to the ones I listed above, some of the others I remember on USA: Face the Music, Make Me laugh, Chain Reaction, Bumper Stumpers, Bullseye, Win, Lose or Draw…

Ha! no. This was over the span of my childhood. There were a lot more game shows, but these are the ones that I could think of off the top of my head. Plus they were on all morning on all 3 networks.

I miss all the game shows that were on in the mornings when I was a kid…Concentration, Card Sharks, High Rollers, $10,000 Pyramid, Jackpot, Jokers Wild…and then coming home from school to watch the Gong Show, Match Game, Tattletales, Press Your Luck…and then in the evenings I had Treasure Hunt, Name That Tune and Tic

I've noticed that Drew tends to say "Man" to black guys, as in "Welcome to the show, Man." And for white guys, he says "Buddy" instead. I've never heard him call women "babe" though. I've warmed up to Drew over the years. I do miss Bob Barker's snarky remarks to contestants who took too long to give a bid.

I used to record the radio by putting my panasonic tape recorder next to the speaker. I made some great mixtapes, first from WPLJ and WNEW and then WLIR when I got into new music. Here's a list of all the Screamers of the Week. I guess they qualify for the Oldies station now.

He did a cameo on this season's Celebrity Apprentice supporting a fundraiser Gilbert Gottfried was doing…Speaking of Gilbert Gottfried, he was on SNL in the early '80s, but I didn't see his name on the list.
