I’ve never heard of someone accepting the ticket instead of a monthly parking garage, because the higher garage fee also comes with the convenience of not circling for an hour to find a space. A $65 ticket twice a week for a month also comes out to over $500. It’s not that hard to find a better rate on a garage.

The boot is only for unpaid tickets. As long as you keeping paying on time, the city doesn’t care how many you get. 

My sister did that in college every week! She could park illegally near class or park legally and walk further. The tickets were like $15, but I still thought it was obnoxious.
