that’s awesome! I received the vaccine in probably 2007, so glad to hear it’s continued to improve. 

So your daughter is aware, the vaccine only protects against three of the worst strains of HPV. I was still able to contract an (only slightly less scary) strain that causes cancer after I had received the vaccine. It was never communicated to me that the vaccine only prevents SOME strains when I received it. 

I think nearly all kids are insured (and can stay on their parents’ insurance until age 26 if their parents are insured), so that shouldn’t really be a hurdle for this particular vaccine. I don’t recall having to pay for it when I received it.
