Look, while I appreciate the need to update this movie, you can't just go around changing key elements! Brand me a racist if you want, but I'm just going to come out and say it:

I'll say this to any naysaying or critiques: Little Black girls are ALL about this movie. I was in the theatre to see "The Hobbit", and moms and grannies were there with their charges and their friends and they were happy as pigs in shit to be there. And I was happy for them.

As much as I wanted to roll my eyes, it's important not to invalidate someone else's experience (especially among POC) because of their perceived lack of oppression. They are part of the conversation because the discord in our communities was built off both our backs.

I don't care about *true meaning of Christmas* or any of that crap, but I can definitely get behind parents not spoiling the fuck out of their kids. If their kids are acting entitled, the exact right thing to do is not give them the thing they act entitled to.

News flash, love: women of colour in the UK, US and Canada have some borderline 'third world' issues going themselves. First Nations /Native/Inuit/Métis women in Canada and the US are killed, raped and abducted at something like 100x the rate of white women....and sometimes don't have access to potable water and

Racists are going to fill the comments here with complaints that these mothers even DARE grieve the loss of their children. They demand that these mothers see their children as monsters who deserved to die and to be ashamed they raised monsters. That is the essence of this racism - simply being offended that the

Make the complaint to animal control, that he's pulling that crap means he's already had a complaint against him and the dog :-(

But how much can't could a white girl can't even if a white girl literally could not even?
