Watch the entire Short Peace anthology film (opening sequence + 4 short films + 1 PS3 game). The theme is Japan.

My first thought is Combustible from the film anthology Short Peace.

It’s director Massaki Yuasa’s choice to directly lift the manga’s art style (and panels). Looking back at his history, his works are quite unconventional.

Depends on how you define ‘good’ and ‘bad’ animation. Ping Pong the animation is a good example. Back to the topic, what made Ufotable different is that they are very good at blending 2D animation and 3DCG with some very good lighting. They also pay a lot of attention towards detail.

Same here, I didn’t even bother to finished DS2. After beating like 8 bosses, I had enough. There’s just too many things that disappoints me. Level/area design, repetitive bosses/mobs, uninspiring aesthetic, story that just repeats DS1’s, artificial difficulty (by throwing tons of mobs at you at the same time).....

People actually pay for PSNow’s service?

I do hope Sony would work something out with PSNOW... Something like PSNOW streaming games based on what old game disc you put in.

Mostly level/area design, mob/boss design, aesthetic and lore..... and also the missing ragdoll physics. WHERE’S MY RAGDOLL PHYSICS.

Bloodborne does have 4 beast-type bosses (5 including transformed Father Gascoigne). But they are different enough to not be repetitive. The beast/werewolf theme plays a big part of the lore.

At least it’s not DS2’s dudes in armor or copy/paste bosses.

Well, you should be excited. The closest thing you’ll get is the next Kamen Rider installment - Kamen Rider Ghost (Autumn 2015).

Am I the only one who likes GoBusters?

A better comparison would be BANDAI America with BANDAI Japan. E.g. the Power Rangers/Super Sentai toys, same toys for same target audience but huge quality difference.

No wonder the whole anime felt so stretched out and most of the time nothing happens.

Agree. If you start Fate series with ufotable’s FSN:UBW, Ilya would just be some little girl died.

I don’t mind changes when adapting a material into a live action movie as long as it’s a good film by itself.

Edge of Tomorrow made so many changes (everything except the concept is changed) from the source material (All You Need is Kill japanese novel) but it is still a great film.

Lately he is kind of important.

**Minor Spoiler Ahead**
The manga is slowly revealing the importance of the Ackerman line/family.

I think you will. Little Witch Academia is more magical like classic Disney stuff combining with Trigger’s artstyle. Recommend you to watch the original first to understand more about the characters.

Saw that when Namco Bandai released the trailer on their Youtube channel. Miyazaki is such a busy man now, working on 2 titles and being the president.

I was very disapoointed that the B-team couldn’t reconstruct Miyazaki’s vision, essence and art direction of the Souls franchise into DS2. DS2 is a good game by itself but not worthy of its title (to me at least). On the other hand, I was glad that Miyazaki (and his team) went to work on Bloodborne. I do prefer
