We are basically entering George Miller’s mind/world. The film is written with storyboards (with the help of 6 artists). A ‘script’ was only made later based on the storyboard.

Edge of Tomorow’s exosuits are cool but I prefer the novel/manga’s Jacket.

haha. When the film ended, i was like ‘Guys.... there’s a Kaiju battle going on’
Anyway, Redline is one of my favourite films. Can’t believe it took 7 years to make. Redline is completely hand drawn (excluding after effects for lighting). No CGI mechas or cars like you see in most anime nowadays.

But does it transform like the Bloodborne’s Threaded Cane?

Now playing

Isn’t the update just have some new enemy placements and lore changes? (aside from the technical stuff like graphical update)

This 50-minute well-written video basically explains all the problems I had with DS2

If you check out the Dark Souls (1 and 2) 3D collision map viewer, you can see that DS1 areas are carefully layout and connected while DS2 areas are stack on top of each other....

Dark Souls 2 is a good game on its own but a big disappointment when compared to its predecessors. Partly due to its new director. It’s the only ‘souls’ game that I will never play more than once.

FromSoftware does this really well in their ‘souls’ games (aside from DS2) thanks to Hidetaka Miyazaki.

You can open and get pass the gate without getting trapped with the boss?

It looks amazing but I’m still not used to watching 2.5D animation (the way that the characters move).

I was quite shocked to see the price tag for anime DVD/BD when I traveled to Japan. No wonder people from my country buys cheap bootleg DVDs that is somehow licensed by the government. These bootlegs usually rip fansubs or have awful translation, terrible box art, low quality and store an entire season onto 1 DVD

Just saw the vid. I really hate that voice work. It’s anything but kawaii. Like you said, the animation needs polishing.

Omg. i missed that anime. Love the references they always make

I love the Pepsiman game. Used to play it all the time. It’s like one of the first runner games.

From the 16-second clip showcasing the whistling, the baddie said “怎么回事” which translates to “What’s the matter?”. It made me cringed when they used ‘huh’ as one of their reaction as Chinese don’t say that.

I thought everyone knew this. The bridge gate to the Cathedral Ward is closed during the night of the hunt. Naturally the door beside it that leads to the cathedral ward is also locked. If you look from the ledge (where the giant was) you can see the area is connected to the Great Bridge. That’s why you have to go

You can check out the behind the scenes for the Subaru x Attack on titan commercial. Both the commercial and 2-part film is directed by the same guy.

Here are some more posters!

An Attack on Titan tv show was announced actually. It will tie in to the two live action films. The story will center around Hanji and crew.

The titan is both a combination of practical effects and CGI. Just like the Subaru commercial which was directed by the same guy, the colossal titan is puppetry while the normal ones are actors with heavy make-ups. The smoke/debris particle effects are CGI.

The thing is, the Japanese film industry do not have the same
