Except that the sentai toys are actually way better (quality and gimmicks) than the US counterpart. Just go look it up!

He is still doing animation but not feature-length films.

I know they are alive but a lot of them has changed to digital(both 2d and 3d), mainly backgrounds, background characters, machinery, vehicles. E.g. if another studio made The Wind Rises, the planes are most likely gonna be 3D animated.
