I'm really glad that there are still animation studio using traditional 2d cell animation. Studio Ghibli is one of the few studios left that still does this kind of animation. They look absolutely gorgeous. You can see and feel that the animators put all their heart and soul into their work.

This is why I'm not buying Destiny. You paid full price for so little content that comes with the game during release and then Bungie charges you so much for every new content.

The Seven Suns

I was kinda disappointed too with the 'versus' thing (aside from the Godzilla screen time and the super boring second act). In the original, Godzilla is supposed to be this force of nature but he somehow became a hero in the 2014 film.

That's the key element of Tokusatsu films/tv shows. Having a guy in a suit is essential for Toku shows. I'm really glad that Japan is still doing it thru shows like Garo, Kamen Rider, Super Sentai and Ultraman. Even the Metal Heroes are making a return.

If you can build a pod like this Gundam Pod Arcade.

This needs to be a thing.
I want to see more of these hilariously crappy robots in action. Most of them are really creative. Just look at it, there's even a dildobot.

Don't forget about J.J.Abrams' Lens Flare Edition.
It may actually happen. Hopefully not.

As someone from Asia, I never heard of Black Friday (or Cyber Monday ) till I came to the UK to further my education. The deals seem worth to me but I resist my temptation to buy anything I don't need. Since young I was thought to buy what you need, not what you want. So yeah...
The PS4 bundle was really cheap but

The whole episode is about Super Sentai being mistaken as an adaptation of Power Rangers. Unless you're talking about the Power(ful) Rangers' screen time.

Parodied as the Powerful Rangers in Unofficial Sentai Akibaranger season 2. Like the title, this incarnation is not official (ironically since it's made by Toei) and targeted towards older sentai fans. In this episode, AkibaBlue who is new to Super Sentai thought that Super Sentai originated from Power(ful) Rangers

You gotta understand how animation studio works in Japan first. Whether tv animes that are not original (based on existing source materials like mangas and light novels) gets a next season depends on DVD/BD sales and sometimes official merchandise sales. Most of the time they lose money. For example, DVD/BD sales of

Milk as much money as they can before the hype and popularity dies out. That's why you see tons of spin-offs (and a weird Marvel crossover) emerged thanks to the anime debut.

This reminds me of the sudden decline of video game grey market in my country. There is no law enforcement on video game piracy. Every stores would sell pirated games and cracked gaming consoles (original games are non existence back then). Then comes the era of pc gaming and 7th gen gaming consoles. Most consumers

CGI Godzilla looks really good but I still prefer the good old practical effects. Tokusatsu Forever!

Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-Chan: Dokuro Mitsukai (Assist)

Tell that to the huge wave of spin-off light novels and mangas that emerged since the anime adaptation debut. Gotta milk the series.

I just couldn't get myself to play an MMO especially pay-to-play ones. The MMO I gave a shot around when WoW started running was Maple Story (Aqua Road patch, yes it's that long ago). All I did was just grind, grind and grind. I did as many quests as I could but most of them were just collect this and that. Everyone I
