You should definitely watch it. The nudity in Kill la Kill actually make sense (yes, even the half naked outfits have a reason). The 'ecchi fanservice' in KLK is more like a parody or a joke making fun of the it. The sheer awesomeness of the show and the art style overshadows it.

I got put off by all the ecchi fan service in High School of the Dead. I could not continue after the first episode.

That was like the early years of Maple Story. I first started when Aqua Road is not even the game yet. The game was bloody hard to lvl up. I stopped playing eventually because it was very time consuming. Few years later I came back (my friends were playing), the game becomes too easy. Quests mean nothing anymore. No

Same here. Keiji Kiriya is a way better character than Cage. He learns and trains all by himself through the countless deaths on the battlefield. Learning every skills one death at a time.
Can't say much about Rita yet. Rita was great in the novel because of her history with the mimic as a child (she's still minor in

I hope it's as good as you said. I've read the light novel and love it. The problem is I'm too attach to the original characters, Keiji Kiriya and Rita Vrataski, from the light novel. The film version are nothing like their original counterpart (except Rita kicks ass).

Makes kpop stars' legs look laughable.

Yes, there is. The new Sailor Moon will be faithful to the manga aside from the new design (dem legs).

I'm not sure how MMPR reboot movie will do. The story is bad by itself. Zyuranger's main plot was better.
Japan has rebooted some of their old tokusatsu tv shows into film in the past. Kamen Rider (1971-1973) rebooted into Kamen Rider The First and Kamen Rider The Next. Both are well done and faithful to the original

I don't get why Megatron always let Starscream live and stay by his side when clearly Starscream had been trying to overthrow him countless times…..

Is PR really good? I grew up with Super Sentai and Kamen Rider (and still watching both). Every time I see clips of PR, many good scenes are censored and toned down. It lost all the spirit and charm of Sentai (e.g. Rollcalls of each members). When I first saw MMPR, I was confused why they didn't talk about the rangers

Does the US version comes with these parts that appeared on Akibaranger season 2?
All I know is the US is getting the female version of yellow ranger (with skirt)..

Sorry if I spoiled anything there. I was being very careful.

It's good. High budget animation + awesome soundtracks. The story is quite fresh for that year. It got my attention on the manga.
Some of my problems with the show:

The anime has been toned down and has many comedic moments while the manga is very serious. I'm not sure about the US version.

This one is Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno/The Legend Ends (Split into 2 films), sequel(s) to the original film under the name Rurouni Kenshin. It's an adaption of the manga of the same name (or known as Samurai X in the US).

Now playing

"To everyone who has experienced childhood."

Hollywood has been trying to adapt some Japanese source materials into films for the past decade but many failed to pass the pre-production stage. Most notable example would be Akira. Now they are trying to get their hands on the critically acclaimed Death Note films. I'm still worry about hollywood's adaptions

Japanese-speaking Caucasian actors are not easy to come by.

I didn't really know much of Kenshin since I never grew up with it. So I can't criticize the film too much.

While in Japan, this baby is coming out soon this year. XD
