Obama got them to give up a lot of weapons and since the Red Line deal there were no Sarin gas attacks at all for his term. Trump comes in and spends all last week saying he doesn’t care if Assad stays... hmm maybe that why he did Assad did this to trump not Obama.

So what’s the clear response? Sure sounds to me like, “Sure, Assad, you can poison gas your own people with chemical weapons and expect a diplomatic message telling you to clear out your personnel and equipment before we offer up a meaningless gesture and drop missiles on a vacated target...”

Sometimes I agree with Rand Paul, though I’m no libertarian.

Yes.

This is dumber than your last dumb comment. Genocide? Who’s stopping genocide here? Trump? Are you joking? That’s idiotic. He’s mad about the chemical weapons. That’s all. He’s not stopping genocide, not anywhere. He doesn’t give a shit. Last week he was saying Assad could stay in power! He was endorsing the genocidal

IF OBAMA launched air strikes the right wing media would have told you to believe he was wrong.

selfinflictedtrumpprez23 - coward.

It looks to me like an act of impotent rage against concrete and dirt. WOooo.

I thought Trump never told the enemy what he was planning. Sad!

Again, Obama did a lot. He just didn’t fire these missiles at this target, which is really the only thing you count as ‘doing something’. It’s an idiotic position, even if you support this attack. It’s not an attack to make up for something Obama did or didn’t do. At least I hope not. That would violate all kinds of

Also, more right wing hypocrisy:

Remember when Republicans always harped on the Democratic presidents to get Congressional approval for everything? Because we were a republic where the people’s representatives had a say about his actions instead of him being a dictator?

When the instability spills out of Syria and into Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, and Israel.

All of your comments in this thread have been goofy, and this latest one is no exception. Of course, Obama could have launched a missile strike without authorization. He could’ve done a lot of things. What he did do, when the Republicans refused to authorize his plans for striking against Assad, was stop the Syrians

“I believe the President’s proposed military strike in Syria cannot achieve its stated objectives,” Ryan said in the statement that was issued around 12 hours after Obama addressed the nation.

Obama asked Congress to authorize it. They refused.

Oh yeah? I seem to remember that the Republican congress wouldn’t allow it.

From what I understand these missiles flew sub-sonic right through Russian air defenses. In other words, Russia allowed the strike to happen without lifting a finger.

So, he just spent 90 million dollars on foreign “aid”. Don’t tomahawk missiles cost 1.5 mil each?

Unbelievable. That guy must absolutely hate Russell Wilson.
