First car, ‘87-model, hand-me-down that the folks bought new. Was worth $700 when I inherited it.
Hold all the buttons for one direction at the same time. It’s in the manual.
My parents had a white park avenue ultra of this vintage. My dad was in the army and got transferred to Germany, and they got the car shipped there. The base (Nuremburg I think?) was full of xpat American cars, but the ‘ultra may have been the biggest car in Germany.
Consumers favorite engine! The Buick 3800 3.8l SFI V-6
Question: How do you move the entire seat fore and aft? Or is that what the cross is for on the headrest (along with height)? Or is it a 4-way power headrest?
My first car was a 1988 Buick Electra Park Avenue (before it became its own line, I guess?). I still miss that car; age 16 me didn’t realize how good I had it, with the bench seats, all-leather, and that solid V6. Think my mom had me “trade-up” to a ‘98 Cherokee because of the lack of airbags, though.
It had the 3800 V-6.
Park Avenue’s were always a bit weird when you could get almost everything in a LeSabre which was basically the same car for a lot less money (same body, same interior, same powertrain). Same with the Olds 88 vs 98.
I don’t know about the power seat controls, but did this model have that “mechanic’s favorite” engine from Buick?
Wrong. As NYC declares war on the car, these actions should be celebrated.
Beat me to it. The more expensive and capable the car, the more likely it is to go slow.
This is sound advice. I appreciate your business acumen.
Fourth, do it in a slow Mercedes. Just dub in the Ferrari noises in later and speed up the film.
He actually did alot of things right. He did (at least most of the time) lay off the throttle around other cars or before blindspots. Afroduck’s run had WAY more traffic, so he swerved through it way more often.
As reckless as this is, its silly to compare it to someone who was reportedly drunk, plow, at similar speeds, through a red light in a busy intersection. At least this guy STOPPED at the red lights, and slowed down if things got tricky.
include a sexy french lady
Umm...
So many red lights ran, a couple close calls also
Noticing what kind of stupid shit is happening in NYC, it is actually quite interesting to see something different. It is impressive record, just wish it was on closed roads. He did obey red lights at least
I am actually more impressed that he managed to avoid axle-swallowing-potholes that NYC is famous for.
As for…
