Hey, it might still be there if you want to clean it out. You’ll need some wheels though, it was sitting on its hubs last time I saw it.

What the actual fuck? Are you for real?
Odyssey owner with 3 kids who do sports and outdoor stuff. Had a Camry when we were only 2 kids and FML I hated getting kids in/out of that thing. You absolutely cannot beat the convenience of the minivan for ease of transport and ingress/egress. And if you’re a coach who hauls stuff, or happen to transport more…
It takes all kinds of critters I guess.
Friend of mine has a 2014 Edge. I hate that thing with unbridled passion.
The Odyssey didn’t look like it did much better. This is also not a test of occupant safety but of fuel leak, and there’s no pictures of what the inside looks like or what happened to the third row during.
What an unbelievable dumpster fire that piece of shit was.
My ex had a Wrangler when wee lived in the ‘loin. It got used as a toilet so much we just pulled the plates and visible VIN plate and abandoned it. Last I saw it, it was like 40% full of old human feces.
Sliding doors are the second worst feature on a minivan.
Everything is terrifying if you try hard enough.
Sliding doors is the biggest benefit of a minivan. Much easier getting kids in and out of tight parking spaces. It’s just easier in general.
Well, they’re the same shape and weight that they ever were and have the smallest engines that they can get away with, there’s a critical lower limit they can’t cross. Meanwhile someone figured out how to get a huge engine to act like a smaller one some of the time in order to meet mileage targets on the pickups, and…
Hell, most CUVs drive better than a minivan. (I was shocked at how good our 2.5i Outback was in the twisties).
I will probably do the same when we’re done with car seats. Captain seats in the second row negate the third row accessibility issue, and make SUV ingress/egress similar to a minivan. The sliding doors would be a huge plus though.
“ (against rational logic) sell for a higher price”
For the money of these minivans you could have easily gotten a 3 series wagon with massively better fuel economy and driving dynamics.
If you didn’t need the wagon, there are just so many other options for a family of four.
What I struggle with is towing capacity. I could see getting rid of my 3-row SUV if I can get similar 5700 lb towing capacity (I could live with 4500-5000). Pulling a camper, or a trailer with OHV’s and motorcycles is not uncommon for me and the fam.
Had 2 kids, had a Subaru Outback, good choice. Sliding door is convenient but not necessary. Enjoyed driving it onto the beach and watching folks with lifted trucks and jeeps expecting be to get stuck....only to actually be able to handle it far better than them with 2000 less pounds dragging me into soft sand and a…
Larger theory: Minivans COULD be a lot better, but all the maunfacturers are putting more effort into crossovers, which in turn (against rational logic) sell for a higher price — thus higher margins. My experience a few years ago was that all the competing 3-row crossovers had nicer materials, a better ride, better…
For a family of four?!
