No, I wouldn’t consider an extremely unreliable operating system for general purpose personal computers to be in any way a platform for gaming.
Sounds neat. Hopefully it’ll get released on an actual gaming platform instead of Windows computers.
Wow, wasn’t expecting the “former Nintendo icon” to publically tell everyone he’s a supporter of crypto scams
if you have old apps that won’t run anymore then they’re probably 32-bit apps that were never updated to 64-bit, Apple provided compatability mode to run 32-bit apps for years and developers had plenty of time to update their apps. If a developer never updated their app that’s on the developer, not Apple.
obviously preservation is important, but is Apple (or any digital storefront owner) really supposed to continue to host every single thing that’s ever been published on the platform indefinitely? iOS and iPadOS continue to be updated year after year with new APIs and functions and features, just because an…
Well they already gave us a better Mario Golf game than the one they’re selling on the Switch. They might as well give us a better Metroid game than the one they’re selling on the Switch too.
So which is it? A Macross game or a Robotech game? They’re two very different things.
Well obviously this was coming. Microsoft isn’t interested in trying to find customers to purchase games, they want subscribers to subscribe to their silly subscription services.
Next week? That would be perfect, this joke of a “video game subscription service” deserves to be announced on April Fools Day

I just press the Home button on my Switch...
wow, Windows really is still this terrible yet so many people are constantly telling me I should buy one and go through the hassle of using it to play games? If I want to go back to the main menu on my console I just hold down the PlayStation button or press the Home button on the Switch. My wife plays The Sims on…
And that bad black and white Wii game, and that bad sliding mech game, and they awful Metal Gear game…
Why? I’m sure Bayonetta 3 will be just as terrible as the other two. What reason does anyone have to expect anything different?
Why did it take 5 paragraphs before mentioning it’s developed by Platinum Games? Every game they make is terrible, it’s no shock this would be as well. Way to bury the lead.
so basicaly spend thousands of dollars to buy a Windows computer and the countless hours tinkering with settings to play an almost 30 year old game
gotta wonder what took so long...
yep, its always a good time for Square (and any other company that makes game worth playing) to make those games available on a platform that actually matters
exactly, funny how Nintendo didn’t have a problem releasing Advance Wars 2 back when the US invaded Iraq in 2003
