Call me a pessimist, but this looks like a killer game...as in, it will kill Bioware.

Convince game companies to actually punish people for saying shit like this. Like zero tolerance policies. You do this even once perma-banned.

The 2018 Cavs in a nutshell

Cheaters can anger normal players and cause a decline in interest in a title, thus losing users and contributing to a lower market value of said product. This is increasingly problematic when your game is going to be an ongoing revenue stream due to the cosmetic microtransactions.

I tried this game at PAX West last year. It was really fun, and the developer was super cool as well.

I don’t really see an issue with it. It’s like having cosplayers at any other e-sports tournament.

It’s so easy. Dissidia is weird. The mechanics are weird and it’s not gonna pick up the way stuff like street fighter, smash bros or any moba has. If square made a moba or a smash clone with all their final fantasy, or damn, any and all square characters, itd be a hit.

I really appreciate the acknowledgement of the nuances on this issue and not only discussing Nicki’s decision, but analysing why she did it and the negative repercussions that her actions have on society and people’s perception of her.

True. But considering it originated in England.....it just seems that Europeans pick on Americans when it comes to this sport and make us look ignorant as if we came up with the word soccer to piss Europeans off and be different, when in fact, it originated on their side of the pond and just happened to stick over

I'm not referring to the original name. To the rest of the world, Soccer IS football.

In fact, in the early days of the sport among the upper echelons of British society, the proper term for the sport was “Soccer”. Not only that, but the sport being referred to as “Soccer” preceded the first recorded instance of it being called by the singular word “Football” by about 18 years.
