A Miata without a stick shift isn’t one.

Yeah man, I’m real glad you super electronic appliance can go absurdly fast in a straight line.

My first car was an 08 Mazda3 Sedan, manual. I still love it 250,000 miles later, and it’s my go to daily driver.

What do you mean “imagine”? Musk is one of the largest government contractors. He’s going into a closed committee on AI next week. Undoubtedly he uses his incomprehensible wealth to influence politics by donating and dark money.

Another day, another example of late stage capitalism eating it’s own tail.

Not sure I can ever forgive the fear mongering bullshit that put the nail in the Kinects coffin.

Capitalism and are fundamentally opposed forces. We’re in an odd age of gaming, where may triple A companies are stagnant and chasing safe profit from known ip, and indie gaming is creating an incredible buffet of titles that range from unplayable crap to games that should be considered the pinnacle of design.

Maybe you’re right - but it speaks to how poorly written and managed the sequels were.

Maybe it's my general superhero/franchise malaise, but I can't get excited about this show. Since we know nothing of consequence happens because of the sequel trilogy, the stakes seem low.

As someone who lives one mile from a grocery store but can’t bike there (it would be suicide on my road) - I really want real options to reduce car usage and improve communities for the majority of Americans.

Sure man, clearly the big take away there is that I hate old and disabled people.

So to live here you...literally can’t own a car?

So driving fun cars will be a luxury of the wealthy, and the rest of us will be stuck with appliances with wheels.

What a future.

Yeah, I mean drivers are known for their restraint and calm decision making.

Maybe it’s because I’m from Appalachia, where a “flat” ride means your average gradient was only 4% or so, but I think sustaining 25mph is going to be pretty hard for most people.

Feel like average speed is going to be more like 10 or 15 mph.

This is a really good opportunity for meta analysis:

One missing piece of the puzzle: EVs cannot sustain road trips.

Capitalism is so fucking stupid.

Millennials and zillennials have lived their whole lives in late stage capitalism. The prior generations suck profit out us as parasites, taking as much as they can get to fuel their profits.

Yeah I’m not sure how I feel about this as a civil/financial penalty when the behavior was clearly criminal in nature.
