Welp, the discourse around this is already exhausting.

At this point I’m not sure why anyone is reading superhero comics. They’re stale, boring, and impossible to keep up with unless you have hundreds of dollars to spend every month to keep up with all the tie ins.

I got banned from Reddit for suggesting, mildly, that Nazis deserved to be punched.

I am constantly stunned at just how bad OEM entertainment systems are. Can't wait to rip out my OEM console from my 2017 Tacoma and replace it with a more pure android auto experience.

This “criticism” is so exhausting.

Contemporary critics pride themselves on their power to disenchant”

In the mind of the author, the character should be fat, and happy about it, and everyone should congratulate her about being fat and talk about how amazing it is that she’s fat, and how awesome being fat is.

Capitalism means endless Fortnite, but a phenomenal franchise like Titanfall rots.

Kinda sounds like you just hate sex workers.

Anyone else miss when Donut made car videos? Up to speed? Money pit?

A few years ago I predicted we’d start seeing social movements around limiting people living outside or leaving cities, as nature should be left undisturbed by humans.

The Mazda CX-30 - it’s the perfect crossover because it’s literally a Mazda3 thats been raise a few inches. Its zippy and fun to drive, it’s so small it scoots around my city quite well, and its practical for 90% of what we do (the car is my partners, not mine).

I finally replaced my 2008 Mazda3 this year, and it broke my heart that I just couldnt bring myself to get another one - if the AWD Turbo model had been available with a manual, it wouldn’t have even been a question.

It mostly sucks to be a car enthusiast in 2023, but finally having the money to buy a high end Japanese

It’s really cool how we’re becoming an increasingly sexless and anti-sexuality society. That tends to lead to really healthy places. Ask Japan.

TBC, the Resident Evil changes is fine, and makes a lot of sense. I’m thinking more the ongoing anti-sex rhetoric we’re seeing around media and the arts.

A prediction:

The number of people here who are salivatory over the death of ICE, and thus the death of cars as we know them perplexes me. Cars won’t be fun anymore when they’re just big iPhones. Maybe it’s necessary, but it’s not something you’re gleeful over if you love cars

Amazing. Every word of what you just said was wrong.

If that's your take away from the Luddites, then your ignorance is only outpaced by your inability to think critically.
