I think this a lot.

I’m worried about art. I’m a straight, white, man. I’m middle class. I didn’t have a particularly traumatic childhood. But my whole life I’ve loved fantasy and science fiction. In my adult love, even though I’ve branched out, I can’t help but feel that I should be ashamed if something titillates me.

Whenever I here this discussion it makes me happy that I grew up rural.

My only problem with these articles is that no one discusses the negativity of treating a person as a commodity, a means to an end.

I know it’s not a great solution, but I keep a ‘master’ version of all my levels that I don’t upload. Only a copy of the level gets uploaded.

Actually I’ve been having this argument for a long time in my writing group. The thing is relationships etc are such a part of the human experience that story’s without ANY romantic elements seem jarring. Particularly in the Hero’s Journey style story (which Star Wars has always used)
