I wish they used the Radio LeMans folks for the commentary, but that’s the worst thing I can say about it.

Paid the FIA $5.25 via the WEC app from Google Play Store, and casted it uninterrupted for the better part of five hours. I don’t even try with Fox anymore. I did the same with the 24h this year, and I don’t expect I’ll ever watch a sportscar race on Fox again.

You gotta remeber how many seats that track has vs. what a good crowd for a WEC race in the US might be.

Nope, the vehicle was hanging over an alley, you can stop clutching your pearls now.

No, I prefer over-wrought competitiors running down the piste at each other, screaming after every point, and ripping off their masks to complain to the ref about right-of-way every time there’s a double light.

You don’t “seal” anything in. That’s one of those colloquialisms that needs to die.

Oddly enough, when I first head Evans was gone, I thought about Will Buxton for that spot (Will’s the F1 pit lane guy for NBCSports in the US). I’ve been well entertained by his Off The Grid shows. I do agree though, that TG needed at least one less cook in the kitchen.

Its been done before. Polyphony Digital (the makers of Gran Turismo) released a PS2 game called “Tourist Trophy” using one of the GT engines. I enjoyed it, and I thought it was pretty well done. I kinda wish they’d do another...

I’m a cord-cutter for many reasons (this kind of stupid is one). I’ve been casting from the WEC app for about 11 hours today to a first as well as second gen Chromecast (obviously not at the same time). I think it cost $11 for the race. That was $11 well spent.

That’s the plan next year my friend.

There is. It gets renamed to “24h Le Mans” app every year in mid-June.

No FoxSports GO channel on Roku, but there is on Amazon Fire TV/Stick.

After several years of dicking around with Fox Sports or Fox Sports Go, I’m just going to pay the WEC this year. I’m tired and the only commentator I like from Fox is Bob Varsha.

I dry-brined my turkey last Thanksgiving (as well as spatch-cocking it as well). I’d smoked the turkey the previous 6 years, now I’ve been told just to do what I did this year.

My previous car was an ‘09 GTI. My heart was set (and I do mean set) on a Lapis Blue 2015 Golf R. I test drove an S3 while waiting for some Golf R to be available for me to even sit in before I purchased. Nice little sedan, liked the drivetrain since I knew that was what was in the Golf R. And then I finally got to

I know your pain, in only the way a Stars fan can.

Mine was between the 101 and Stinson Beach in 2009 VW Jetta that I was way more comfortable flogging at speed than my passengers were. The corners kept tightening up and there was very little time that the car wasn’t either turning or changing camber across lanes. Eventually it got to me too, no one puked, but

Andy Lally is a silver too. The rules are so weird about drivers, can I just have my ALMS back? And my P1 cars? The Daytona “Prototypes” just don’t do it for me.

You know, I shouldn’t have said anything, its against my personal rules to argue with people on the Internet. You do your thing, I’ll do mine...
