I am really enjoying the set up they are doing in regard's to Hannibal's repeated attempts to create a dependent state in people. It clearly started with Dr. du Maurier, as I believe the implication is that Hannibal sent her a crazed patient only to "save" her life, correct? He's tried to foster the same dependence…

I love how basically any slasher film ever can be thought of as one of the operations by the mysterious organisation. Basically, this is the St. Elsewhere of slasher films.
So, what are the odds on a follow up to the show through a book?
