The guy is working 120 hours weeks. Why is no one even touching on that? Does anyone even know what many 100+ hour weeks does to someone? When taking that into account, these issues are relatively small and insignificant. Most big companies deal with similar issues on a regular basis, it’s just not as publicized.

I prefer to look at it as a price to time-carrying-weight-on-back ratio. If you only hike a couple times a year, then go for it. But if you’re carrying a tent every other weekend, then it’s worth the extra couple hundred to shave off that extra weight.
