“Oh! Is it a *gold* star? :)“

“many people making PSA” - as long as it is anti-vape I support that.

They aren’t going to do any of it but adhering to this would be nice:

“Long live linux”

“stay away from my children” —- My children don’t leave the house as it is. They are safe at home and have no reason to leave. Kids leave the home when the home is toxic. I have a sanctuary, I don’t need toxic people coming in to my home. That’s why toxic people should stay away from my children.

“lack imagination”

“I would rather fathers be overprotective than underprotective”

“It’s this kind of schooling I struggle to protect my children from.”

“I would advocate him knowing a distinction between smoking and vaping” — it’s easy to tell the difference visually but the science will not be in this lifetime to know if it has any other differences due to how long it takes to study the human body’s reaction to things.

“Cool, my son was born at about the same time.”

“And nothing wrong with mocking asinine anal apertures! :D”

Since when does popularity and social approval matter? Does it matter to you in your life?

I’ll time travel to 2056 when the first studies will be finished. By then you’ll be long dead. Remember, cigarette studies couldn’t be completed within the first 50 years because no one had any clue how it would affect the body.

Nah, I just like difficult discussion. All this talking I do online is really just me trying to figure out how to defuse and heal a troll. I draw them to me (which isn’t hard) and then I try to find a way to calm them down so they aren’t so angry.

I’m with you entirely. I just think the internet as a whole is designed with major flaws, specifically in privacy and protecting our youth. Think about it - it is illegal to show your son/daughter porn until they turn 18, but the internet can give a son/daughter access to porn the minute they type the word in

Rebellion only occurs when a parent isn’t “overprotective” but instead “overbearing”. My giving my son a heart to heart while doing something together we love is being overprotective. Me telling my son to sit on his bed so I can lecture him until he changes his mind and tell me he was wrong is overbearing. One is

“I do not for one minute believe that the majority of obese people could not lose weight if they wanted to” —— But that’s choosing to lose weight, not choosing to be obese. They don’t wake up and go “Well, I am tired of those toned and tight body, honey, let’s just be obese people. I’ve always wanted to be one, so,

People don’t have the “good” things re-enforced if people don’t speak up. I’m glad you don’t promote smoking, you’d be taking society in the direction of destruction. But promoting the “good” and being a hypocrite is way better than doing nothing.

I think because the Wii version was a port with Miis in it. It wasn’t a new game.

Didn’t even think of Samus. Nothing personal, but she just was never one of my fav games. I was too young to understand her game on the NES and SNES. Zelda I got, but Metroid? Not so much.
