Well, she is still a Republican, and as a resident of the state for 33 years, most of the Ohio Republicans I’ve encountered are assholes. I’ll be happy with her being the “Republican primary winner” until I know who her Democratic opponent is (as Ohio Democrats can be massive idiots).

The word “gal” is one of those things that inexplicably makes my skin crawl. Maybe because it’s usually said by condescending chunk-nuggets like this guy.

My parents are public school teachers in Ohio, every time someone says “Kasich’s the reasonable one” they start doing the cartoon steam out of the ears thing. He’s not reasonable, he just looks sane next to others, which is scary in and of itself.
