True, though Star Trek has never been all that great with having LGBTQ characters. Pretty much just Dax, evil Kira, and one or two androgyny episodes
Agreed . . . I find the movies to be enjoyable, but since the very beginning Abrams was clear about the fact he didn't care about Star Trek and was pretty much just trying to make a Star Wars resume.
BUT . . . HETERONORMATIVE BASEMENT DWELLERS NEED SOMETHING TO BE PISSED ABOUT . . . DAMN YOU JUSTIN LIN YOU SJW
I was under the impression (having seen both of the last two movies) that they were very much "less ideas more explosions" compared to most what what came before in the Star Trek world . . . that's why they suck/are popular, right?

I don't like any of this shit.
If conspiracy theorists would take a deep look inside, they would realize that humans are far too stupid to organize the things that conspiracy theorists believe.
It is weird that there's been so much pushback on having Sulu be gay. I totally understand that plot and character need to come first, and that if they make a huge deal about it, it wouldn't really make sense for the Star Trek universe. But I don't believe there's any indication that it will be handled in an overly…
True . . . human greed is a very powerful force. If only there were a way to force feed a someone a spiritual awakening, but I guess that's kind of missing the point.
I don't think you need to be sane to be racist . . . in fact I'd say that the opposite is more true.
They are both terrible . . . I'm inclined to say that it'd be better if he was being honest but . . . who is more dangerous, a legitimate madman or someone so unscrupulous that they'll do anything for money/power, no matter what the cost? I'd say about equal.
Is Alex Jones expressly racist? Also, does he really believe his own mumbo jumbo or is he just a master manipulator of the hopeless/mentally ill?
What kinds of art are tax pants people allowed to like? Just Charlie Rose?
What defines intelligence?
College dumb is pretty dumb
Meaning they related to a line about being intelligent while misunderstanding the intent with which the line was written!
Have you seen much Star Trek? Are you religious?
Don't they explicitly define religion as one of the "primitive" aspects of humanity that they've moved one from?
Hey now there will be one thing that's better about the Abrams Trek universe
