I know quite a lot of players who play with dogs in tow and at least one who brings his guide dog along, including to major events. Obviously she’s a calm dog who copes with crowds fine - and so are all the other dogs I’ve met when playing - but it goes to show there isn’t a hindrance in bringing a dog!

A buddy and I used to geocache a lot. That is what led us into Ingress when it first launched the closed beta. There are a lot of parallels that can be drawn of the two. Now I really want to go geocaching. Been way to long since I have been.

You’re completely correct. That being said, the alternative is even worse. Most people don’t generally use a password manager at all. How many times have we seen a story that reveals that there are humans out there who still use 123456 as their password? How many people use the same password on every site?

I take my dog with me whenever I can. Mainly when I’m going to go hiking. She loves being on the trails more than I do, I think!

Before I moved, I would hack portals on my morning and nightly dog walks. The only tough part was paying attention to my phone and my dog trying to eat trash of the street in Queens. The street buffet isn’t nearly as much of a problem in the new town, so I’m debating giving this another go.

I know *a lot* of people with pets, so don’t worry about that at all. :)

I geocache frequently as i enjoy getting out, going to places i probably otherwise wouldnt, and i sometimes take my dog along for a day of excercise and adventure.

plus it is fun to look for hidden objects and some people have very creative minds when it comes to hiding caches.

Anyway, that was a long way of saying I

I was a Wachovia customer when Wells Fargo bought them. One by one, all the benefits of Crown checking (keep a certain balance level and get a bunch of goodies) went away.

Your provider doesn’t offer internet-only packages? I actually don’t have cable (my father does, which inspired this post when I went rummaging around for the stuff he was able to do that I didn’t have access to) but I’ve found you can get broadband only if you want - you just have to deal with them trying to upsell

And the other replies are mostly “Churchill = Hitler” hate too.

Im a bit surprised to hear lifehacker used Churchill as an example of someone to imitate.

Reading many comments on this board and the sister sites it seems the audience points more towards looking up to the likes of Che Guevara or Chairman Mao

You could drive to a park or a friendly neighborhood closer to where you work and then ride your bike from there.

Tim makes a good point. Maybe people who don’t live multiple zip codes from work are happier people.

I think it can also depend on the climate where you live. For example, doing this in Phoenix in the summertime when it can get to be over 110 degrees... probably not the best idea.

I would just like it to automatically adjust my route to avoid traffic. How about an “aggression” setting, since there are days I don’t mind driving extra distance or time, I just don’t want to sit in traffic.

I just tell my kids that whatever they leave out there is effing toast.

I think those should only apply where one party has a large income difference with the other spouse. Rational people should be able to work out their differences if the relationship does not work out otherwise.
