Yep. My friends said the same about the mom scenes. I couldn’t relate. That was not my relationship with my mom, but I know I’m an outlier. I get why people love this movie but I did not. The glass castle/captain fantastic (minus the alcoholism and such) resonated with my upbringing more than LB.

I did not relate to any of the characters. I did not like the directing or the tone. I usually love the actors but this really missed the mark. I also hated Juno and almost famous and the like. I think it was an OK movie but in no way worth of 100 tomatoes.

Don’t waste your money. I only saw it because I have moviepass and needed to pass a few hours. It was really bad.

Nope. Didn’t say it was equivalent. Just said everyone has different morals and values and I personally think people who eat meat are cruel idiots.

Turn off your phone when you aren’t using it. There probably won’t be a an emergency where you need to be contacted immediately. I still have a landline for this reason.
