Well, Romney says he’s going to vote to confirm RBG’s replacement, so this nightmare is not going to end for a few decades, even if Trump loses.

Given the way the laws are worded, there is essentially a zero percent chance that the officers will be charged.

The Republicans are generally evil and certainly hypocrites, but if the Democrats were in their position, I’d be screaming like crazy for them to fill the seat.

It might cause trouble for a few Senators in tight races, but there is at least one more (and probably two more) justices that will come up in the next four years.

Not for me. If we got luck and screwed the GOP four years ago, I’d be fine with them inventing rationale for screwing them again.

Aside from that, there is at least a tiny burden for a student to have to see/hear/say the name of a white supremacist slave holder at your school day after day.

Sadly, I suspect this allegation will, in fact, get as much attention as the first allegation.  More sadly, that is very little attention.

This is probably just crazy talk, and we probably need more data to figure this out, but it almost seems like cops treat black folks poorly.

Please note, Harris County is not planning to send actual absentee ballots to everyone. They are getting blocked from sending even the applications for absentee ballots to everyone.
