I mean, I'm sure it's happened but they do need to be at certain places or encounter certain people. This show combines/gets rid of/adds a lot of characters but it's not like LOTR where Tolkien could have removed a lot of forest wandering. Dany needs to travel to certain places to develop her reputation, strengths,

The issue is that we don't know what they can really axe yet. Things that may seem insignificant in the books may land characters in locations they need to be in to die/take over something/have an important moment. So while we can say that we can condense the two books…we're not FULLY sure.

I see Sophie Turner, Natalie Dormer, Emilia, Nikolaj, and Dinklage have already either done roles concurrent with the show and will probably have big roles after. They COULD make it work but I think they'd want to leave eventually. I can see Emilia landing a franchise easily. Dinklage has a big project coming up in

That's a GOD DAMN, COLD-ASS BURN and BE MY FRIEND.*

That's a strong insight. I can see that being the case. I think I was just uncomfortable that a stranger talked about my character in such a way without..proving herself to me first. (I'm very protective of Abed and he's probably my favorite character of the main cast) But I didn't feel that she was trying to be

No, that's totally useful to share. The episode with Abed and Hickey discussed that issue well - does someone like this deserve a free pass? I just didn't love the way the line was written or read. I wish lines and plots like that came from the people who know Abed the most, not two new faces.

For those who don't know, Good Morning, Miss Bliss featured a few of the characters that advanced to Bayside - Zack, Screech, Lisa, and Mr. Belding. They knew that some of these characters would work really well and some would not (a few friends and staff members), so they did a massive retooling including changing

This is the best description I've ever seen for each of these shows.

Troy makes a reference in Repilot (or 5.02) about making a surprise appearance in the trial. It was a meta joke but it still has me wondering if Troy is going to appear in some way - maybe if a big event DOES happen he will show up or show in in a prerecorded video from "the boat".

I'm not sure how I feel about her one line - did she say one of Abed's "bad times" or "special moments"? Something like that that came off as someone who does not understand that Abed is neurologically atypical. (the debate on that can be saved for another time) That line could have just been written differently.

That's a good thing - last season, people complained that there were too many costumes and therefore the joke could get old. This came back in a big way, and since there was no drag it felt fresh.

That's my only complaint with the show - that I'm totally jealous of their comedic abilities and success, as a 22-year-old woman myself. But I'm fully proud that two deserving people are putting on a great show and totally support them.

The thing is is that Lincoln OFFERS to do all of these things. She doesn't ask him for any of it. Abbi doesn't even ask him. He elects to do these things, which I took as "wow, this is a nice guy that respects Ilana and Abbi." Also, I've enjoyed seeing a Jewish(?) white woman play the role that black men are often

Eh, I think they've done more service to themselves than Schumer or Silverman. (Silverman has grown past her doodoo days) I'm not into gross-out humor because I think it's lazy, and really not into girls pooping to prove that they're one of the guys. When this show has done gross humor, it does so in a Women Only type

I wouldn't compare the two - Brooklyn DOES have to use 20+ episodes and it does have stronger diversity. It is also limited by the FCC where Broad City has fewer impositions. I will say I've enjoyed B99 more, but think that both shows are genius and a great direction forward for television.

I take the bus into Port Authority which is pretty satisfactory - TWO Au Bon Pains!

YIKES. No. I have a feeling science could objectively prove you wrong on that claim.

I disagree with Nowalk's opinion of the cast "make-under". This week and even last week were pretty great, but a few of the first season 3 episodes just were not good, because they brought in guest actors (Leggero, Whitman) and cut everyone else from the town. If this show becomes a guest-star show it could still be

I don't like the term "strong female character." We assume a man is strong, so strong male character is a redundant phrase to many. I want to see all types of women and if they're strong, I don't need them to just be Michelle Rodriguez with a machine gun. Give me resiliency, determination, stubbornness, loyalty. Give

If Diaz is a nerd, it would add so much to the character. I'd love to see a plot where an officer tries to play the "fake gamer girl" card on her and she engages in a nerd-off. Imagine if she cosplays?!? That's a very "Ron Swanson loves puzzles" attribute that would shut up the people who think she isn't rounded out.
