Also, when she smiles she looks like she knows all the world's secrets. I love that girl.

I always see Moffat as taking canon mysteries and questions and trying to claim them as his. HIS companions override the importance of RTD's, HIS Doctor's heartache over the Ponds destroys him worse than the Doctor/Rose separation. I see a lot of greed in his writing.
I feel like, knowing Moffat and the amount of questions or mysteries he's tried to make his including teasing his real name several times, he'd try it.
I'm still very disappointed Rita from the hotel episode wasn't a companion. She was so great - woman of color, unique set of circumstances not really addressed on television in a unique way (demanding family, being Muslim). She had more personality and a clearer arc in her one episode than Clara really does at all…
That's a great point. If they give her an arc or conflict that is separate from her value to the Doctor, I will finally support her existence on this show. And making him an older man who's likely not going to be making out with her (I imagine there will be shippers, but not to the extent of Doctor/Rose or Doctor/Amy…
She still has not one personality trait that I know about her. Rose: struggle of home vs. the great beyond, Martha: has to work out her feelings for Ten and therefore self-worth, Donna: becomes an intelligent, vital woman in the fabric of space and time. Amy, who was painted as "sassy" at least had her personal life…
I'm hoping that finding Gallifrey will either reset the regeneration clock or give him infinite regenerations because's Moffat's greedy ass would cancel the show if he could, just to cement that his run is the be-all, end-all of the show. I despise that turd.
As a chick and a fan of several years, both my excitement and my body were aroused.
I think the final shot was his "dream" as he's discussing in the voiceover. I didn't find that literal.
I saw RTD and cried. Really hard. It KILLS me that he didn't write the special.
Dude,
This. sounds. AMAZING.
Idris Elba would have been my pick. Chris Hemsworth is another totally satisfactory pick. I wouldn't mind Chris Evans next year, who's another perfect choice.
ED. SHEERAN. was selected as a pick this year. Ginger Igor?! GINGER IGOR?!
Well, then your opinion matters more! I'm 22, so I haven't been out of college long. If WE see that these writers nailed it, that's a valuable compliment.
Oh, of course, but Neko did just come out with an album so at least both are relevant examples still. Imagine if she had said like…MGMT.
Right, so it makes sense, but it wasn't made a joke like the Nirvana thing was, so it just looked unknowingly outdated.
Wait I don't watch this show but you're telling me Niles the Butler got boinked on primetime television? Do I need to start watching this show?
Who downvoted this? This is the best plot the show could ever do.
Also, I'd like to know a little more about Leslie's father. That's something I've wondered about, just because this sunny, vibrant person experienced loss early in life and I wonder what he was like.
I think the hipsters are a little…two years ago. April's references were current (Neko Case) but the way they looked and all…maybe they were hipsters because Pawnee is behind the times and hipsterism was mainstream two years ago, so Pawnee would be discovering that now. I've seen a lot of those hipster types become…
