@Sloopydrew: is there maybe a ton of unlockable stuff? 7 hours DOES sound short. I can understand though, if there's a lot of stuff to find from exploring or unlocking. Maybe your brother just tore through the game?

@the7k: maybe it's just square but i find the character design in JRPGs pretty damn cliche'd now. As far as atmosphere the games i thought had the most atmosphere lately were all western (batman, bioshock, and fallout3). To each their own, i guess jrpgs just don't do it for me anymore. Too bad really, i used to

@p|-|15|-|: seen another way it could be $5 per new map?

@jgibson75: my bet is you're the norm. I say that only because i did the same thing. Tried it out for about 30 mins to an hour. Went back once to check out the bat cave after batman: arkham asylum came out. That's the extent of it for me.

@NeVeRMoRe666: I think he just saw your first statement on red rings and a blood haze fell over his eyes making it impossible to read the rest of your comment.

@zåɳzißarlegeпȡ: i agree completely. I'm not bothering w/ FF13, so i probably have no right to talk, but everything i saw of it smacked of design based on focus group testing. It reminds me of the quote 'nobody ever erected a statue to a committee.'

@0 Lives Left: can you honestly look at early madden games and recent ones and say the franchise hasn't grown at all? I don't buy them very often, but even i think they make improvements over time.

@clydemarshall: you need to drop van damme and make it a brazilian capoeira movie set in the favelas.

@Paul Man Roberts: really, that's my experience w/ the aztecs. Montezuma is just batshit insane. Attacks regardless of his relative power to you.

@phor11: yeah i felt funny about it myself. Dunno what the hell i was thinking.

what if this isn't a map pack at all? But a way for IW to alter the existing maps somehow for free?

@IvanDashSmith: shit dude, battlefield bad company 2 is my way of boycotting MW2 :-p

@Brett Benedict: not sure if you're on 360, pc, or ps3, but on 360 u can change your privacy settings so you can only hear people on your friends list. Everyone i play MW2 has done this, and everyone was happier for it. You can't hear them and they can't hear you.

@Jonny_eh: i gotta say, i was pretty shocked that apple didn't attempt to do this first. Especially with the smashing success of the app store and seeing as how games are the main purchase on the app store. I always assumed games would be avail. via itunes sooner or later. Oh well, sucks for them, not like they

@Danza: heh i'm not excited for FF13 either. But honestly i'm not excited for any FF anymore. Sad really because FF6 was one of my favorite games of all time. I don't know if it's Square or me, but i haven't enjoyed one of their games for quite some time now. FF13 smacks of design by committee and focus group

@undeadmachine: i play with friends and haven't had any problems. We get into an xbox live party first and have only been split up once. (When i got booted and did a join in progress)

@GhostTheSaint: are you asking if killzone2 is better than MW2? No, but it's a different kind of game. I thought killzone2 was extremely mediocre though, graphics were the only thing it had going for it. Same goes for battlefield bad company 2 vs mw2. Different kind of game. I prefer battlefield though.

@Witzbold: damn, me too man. I was really ready for something squad based after playing modern warfare2. I love how much they hook u up with points for helping out your team in this game.

@Str8_Jihadin: no... microsoft is the much larger of the 2 corporations. I don't mean like double or triple the size either i mean like 7 times the size of Sony in terms of market capitalization.

@Krauza: i dunno i have a pretty damn nice rig that can take anything i throw at it, but i still buy most of my games on 360 or ps3. Why? Because of my friends i'm the only one w/ a nice rig, while they all have a 360 or ps3. Also i hate playing games at my desk. Bad back + office chair is a shit combination.
