Wouldnt be surprised if this ends up with YouTubes Watch Jr Go.. Last I knew he was working on getting his pilots license, and just might have the skills between him and his genius father to get this back in the sky. The channel is car centric, but I could see him pulling this off in some form. Probably moreso a

They were available with manual 5 speeds..

It was offered with the manual.

This was already a thing... for awhile now...Thule actually sells this as a kit.. no new invention

Its not a fancied up 4Runner, not even the same chassis. The GX is based on the Toyota Prado, which we dont even get here. Its also more capable and comfortable than the 4Runner, which is probably why they recommended it.

Pro tip- they all are..

Because slimebag salesguy included the Mazda in his bankruptcy so it was protected. As soon as he sold it and they bacame aware he sold it, it was no longer protected. He still owed 14k on it when he sold it to the kid for 10k. They werent gonna get anything for the salesguy, he financed it through the dealership, so

Like carny folk??? Sounds about right..

Dealership had the lein as the salesman bought it from them and financed it with them. Salesman was trying to scam the dealership and kid using the bankruptcy

Nah, just call the local news Investigative reporter and watch them chew the dealership and salesman to shreds. A helluva lot cheaper for a 16 year old and way better chance of a good outcome. If the dealership doesnt want to give, the public will step up and hook the kid up. The dealership will close within 2 months

This...exactly. Salesman probably violated all kids of state motor vehicle dept (or whaterever agency is responsible for dealer licensing). regs and knew it. He needs a good long time in a cell to think about his life choices...

There was a lein on it by the dealership (according to the dealer) so the sleazebag salesman didnt have a clear title to give him. You dont get a title on the date of purchase from a dealership, or a signed off title with a lein on it. You get your title when the title is cleared. You get a bill of sale and a copy of

If the dealership is who repossessed the car then they had the lein on it. So in a roundabout way the kid was buying the car from the dealership anyway. They are more involved in this then everyone is saying.

If the dealership was the actual leinholder that had the authority to reposess the car (outside of the inability to do so because of the bankruptcy order) then they should release the car with title to the kid (as they would either send it to auction or put it back on the lot anyway) and go after the slimeball

Riveting, Pulitzer caliber writing from Jalopnik these days. Articles about counterweights like they are magical wizardry, bloggers copying other bloggers so they can take a trip to “Click City.”  This is what Jalopnik has become. Its funny how you can tell a good Jalopnik blogger..they dont work for Jalopnik anymore

So basically the best recommendations are the ones the staff doesnt give.

Not to mention fixing the shit roads, but I imagine they are gettting a big fat check from the feds, but they'll still be shit roads after they "fix" them..

FWIW, last I knew, studded tires were illegal in Michigan, but then again, with Tracy, traffic and vehicle laws mean nothing to him..

But its ok for the writers to trot him out on camera every episode in his tidy whities which is fine with the director and studio management and for writers to put sexual dialog on a family show and hes just cracks a few jokes and that makes co-workers uncomfortable? Im definitely not giving him a automatic pass,

Good point, not to mention that Garlin has worked on alot of shows where the writers have given him dialog that has gone way beyond “Oh my vagina.” and hes been expected and paid to say much worse. Same goes for Wendy McLendon-Covey and George Segal (RIP) as far as they have acted out and said much worse on shows
