I saw an exhibit of her work at SFMoMA probably 14 years ago or so. Just amazing. People are SO quick to mock her and her work, it’s completely unjustified. I even love her music.

It’s difficult for me to like Yoko, given how she treated Julian Lennon. But it feels like she gets way more crap than she deserves. Many male artists were shitty people and everyone still acknowledges them as great. And it doesn’t even seem like a lot of the people who hate her even cared about Julian.
What bugs me about people deifying Lennon is that he was clearly very open about his shortcomings. But people ignored that and treated him like he was a saint. And then when people learned about who he really was they went in the opposite direction and called him a monster.
Yoko totally rules, her art and music alike.
