How do you figure? I've been in some pretty smooth I-5's, besides all engines are balanced in the crank and provide dampening through the harmonic balancer, some even have externally balanced fly-wheels or flex plates.

I've always been under the assumption of what if it were my wife/family/friend/etc. in the situation those Emergency Vehicles are going to. Would I really want to be the reason someone didn't make it, I don't see how I could live with myself for getting in the way.

Its metal and plastic, it can be fixed.
