By purchasing this you would help to finance the seller’s next project, which I would like to see, whatever it is. It’s not “what-the-hell” money, but it’s not overpriced either.…

Sorry, this one is off the mark. “Restored” it is not. It has been partially refurbished in an amateurish way, with a non-standard drivetrain and many changes that keep it from being a reincarnation of being factory fresh.

I was thinking ski storage, but this was during the era of long, straight skis (hell, I was skiing 207cm skis in the moguls in this era) so that’s probably not it. I guess he could have stored his ballet skis in there, but then I was thinking it looked more like storage for golf clubs. I bet the front pieces open like…
