I’m not a Ford guy, and I really don’t like Fairmonts (although the Zephyr/Futura aren’t so bad, I guess). I was ready to smash the no-dice button, but then I read V-8, four-on-the-floor, plaid seats, and low-ish miles to boot.  I think the price is in line with the options and condition.  Nice price.  

I’ll vote nice price on this, but just barely. I’d feel better about it if the cowl was repaired and a full detail done. But the big block engine and row-your-own gearbox put it into NP territory for me.

Why not dual disc brakes on the front? Harley normally will put a single front brake rotor mounted on the front left, which cleans up the right side of the front wheel for more visual appeal. I wonder why this bike has it on the right?

The exhaust is tucked in enough that you leg shouldn’t be directly touching it. But yeah, it’s gonna get hot.

I’d like to see a QOTD on what was the most unexpectedly fun car you’ve driven. For me it was the AMC Pacer X. Didn’t expect to enjoy driving it as much as I did. Of course I’ve driven a bunch of cars that were horrible to drive as well.  In fact the number of shitwagons I’ve driven surely outnumbers the good ones.

For purposes of this racing series, it’s an American V-Twin powered heavyweight touring motorcycle with a fairing and hard saddlebags.
