Grundig

I just need him to not put kids in cages”

Too late.

This was my thinking, and I voted nice price, but it was a tough call. But what pushed into NP territory for me is how many boxes this thing checks.

“why would anyone ever want to drive a manual pickup truck?”

I grew up driving manual pickups, so nostalgia?

and a “Calvin peeing” sticker

There are better bikes out there for this price, but that’s not what this is about. This is a interesting, quirky bike. Not a good choice if you’re looking for a commuter bike to daily, this is something to tinker with, ride occasionally, and take to a local bike night. They aren’t making any more Buells, so although

loose  =/= lose

Today I learned that Jalops here at NPOCP will gladly pay $2500-$3000 for any hunk-o’-junk that runs, but not pay $4500 for a very clean sporty coupe with a manual transmission. I’m a bit surprised --  I think it’s a fair price for what’s on offer here.

Only 60,000 miles, but also 22 years old. So even though it’s in great condition for its age, expect some maintenance to be required. I’d like to see a price below $4000 for this car.

Sure, it’s a fantasy. Nothing like that could ever happen. Oh, wait....

Needs a longer roof to get anywhere close to the asking price.  $2900 for this sedan?  Not in this condition.

“Meh. When you’re done with all that, what you have is a ‘65 Falcon with a six and a slushbox.”

“ Soviet and Chinese victims just don’t have good PR.”

Not to mention that the Chinese are still being oppressed by the same government. And the Soviets were better (and had much more time) at hiding their atrocities than the Nazis (who were essentially “caught in the act”)

“...with a manual so his idiot friends won’t be able to drive it.”

“But I don’t have kids nor do I want one”

Then this is the car for you!

“. This Humvee wears Goodyear Wrangler tires with what’s claimed to be nearly full tread, although should you manage to flatten one of those you’re going to be SOL since the truck doesn’t seem to carry a spare.”

If I remember correctly, these didn’t carry a spare...instead they are equipped with run-flat devices that

I drove a ton of miles in these, almost always wearing earplugs. Same for deuce-and-a-halfs, which are even noisier than HMMWVs.

The over-your-regular-glasses kind

Needs a Hornet logo on the tiller. Other than that I’m with you.
