The issue here isn’t necessarily the condition of the car, but that the current or previous owner decided it was more important to spend time and money on aftermarket wheels, lowering, upholstery, and a sound system, rather than fixing functional issues like rust, wipers, windshield, and a broken tail light.

“Have any readers ever bought, or made a serious attempt to buy, one of the cars?”

It’s beyond time for a new girlfriend — because it will only get worse.

America elected Trump because they were still reeling from electing a black president?”

If America was reeling from electing a black president, Obama wouldn’t have gotten elected to a second term

Alex: “Cue a lot of people who are about to tell me how wrong I am in, 3, 2, 1...”
Critic: “Well of course they’ll be here fast, they’re tootling on their phone while they wait for a tow truck because of a minor, totally not worth mentioning problem.”

“It’s quite the interesting interplay between the “fuck the cops” and “fuck the millionaires” crowd I’d imagine.”

I imagine there’s a huge overlap in those two groups.

If it sells, then it’s not a miscue

“...turn off the tv and enjoy actual life”

That’s exactly what I’ve been doing since 2016.  Necessary to retain my sanity.
