Isn't this comparing an operating system to a phone? So an operating system which is free (right?) across multiple brands against a phone. Yet Apple makes money on its PHONE.

I think we'll see a massive increase in phones and other computer devices doing their own VoIP/video calling stuff, and Skype will start to suffer. I don't see this as a good investment.
