That’s what I assumed. I thought it was genius when they gave the base game for Civ away for free on the same day their whole season pass/new DLC launched for it. It’s the same as Destiny or WoW giving away the base for the incremental sales.

I remember playing an early MS Flight Sim, loaded off old big floppy disks, on my Aunts B&W Tandy computer (maybe ‘89). The only way you could tell if you crashed into land or water was by “Splash” or “Crash” showing up on the screen with a ‘cracked airplane window’.
