I still don't see what a Linux-operated PS3 can do that a custom-built PC can't? Or is it just about proving that a PS3 can run Linux and then never touching it again? Is a PS3 cheaper than a custom-built PC?

You are correct and it is the main reason I do not own or ever want to own an XBox

I guess it IS slightly annoying that Sony can change the functionality of your store-bought personally owned machine by forcing you to install new firmware... but it's not MORE than slightly annoying....

Stealing personal data of 75 million people because you're grumpy over the removal of Linux...?

what, Taiko no Tatsujin is in the JP App store! Never knew that!! thx :-)

Is Jubeat available outside the JP app store?

Maybe it had something to do with Spirit Tracks being a dreadfully boring game? Travelling in fixed direction on rails was boring.... and then you had to "avoid" enemy locomotives... yeah right.

Who is that kid with the eyeballs floating in his breakfast?

The only reason the iPhone hasn't COMPLETELY taken over the handheld market is because of REAL D-Pads / Analog control stick on the PSP/DS... Virtual D-pads don't work at all —- they're only bearable if the game is really really easy and mega-forgiving. Is that the direction Sony is taking?

The real reason is that Nintendo can finally make the original Crystal Chronicles work on a console. I mean the Gamecube version where each player had to connect their GBA, so they could get secret info and adjust their character on their own little screens.

Actually Mario being a fat plumber is quite brilliant. Just look at protagonist characters in other games: In FPS'es you always play the same steroid-macho dude with ridiculous guns, in a RPG you always play the same spiky-haired 'hero', etc. etc.

Thanks, will look into it.

Home doesn't fit on my 40GB ps3...

Nintendo is waiting till the END of 2012 !?!? With a current console that doesn't even support HD output ??? By that time, nobody will remember the name "Nintendo" anymore.

The big problem is that they're not really rhythm games. The music doesn't help you at all, and you can easily finish a level without even listening. The Tetris-clone seemed to do nothing with the sound at all. You just play Tetris.

But that's because they hardly let anyone in...... They only treat you if your insurance company struck some behind-closed-doors deal with the hospital you were taken to.

It's the same as downloading an MP3... it just doesn't feel the same as going to the record store, listening to the latest albums and grind your teeth trying to decide which one to buy.

That's what you get when medical care is privatized: making money becomes the first priority of the pharmaceutical/medical industry. Who cares if tech is from the eighties and weighs 10 kilos if you can sell it for thousands of dollars?

He's still pissed off about nobody buying Wii Music.
