I have actually looked in to that. The seat adjustment controls would then be on the wrong side and possibly not work any longer. I will likely get a new car in a year or so and I will suffer on until then.

My driver side heated seat stopped working last winter. Replacing it is waaaaaay too much money. I used to rarely even use the heater since the heated seat kept me warm. Yeah, the cleaning is the worst part. It took me multiple days to clean and two days to apply the epoxy (one for the color coat and one for the clear coat, with about 5 days in between).
